Speaking and Listening - Planning for Public Speaking

Last Friday Year 2 students enjoyed a fabulous lesson. Each student came prepared to talk about what the essentials are for a great speech. After a long list of ideas, the students started preparing a short speech to practise the skills. Each pair were asked to look at a picture and answer some questions. The students worked really well together and I was very proud of their speaking.
This week Year 2 students are going to think about a list of Topics that could be used to create an interesting speech.
