Annual Junior School Swimming Carnival

A cool and showery day didn't stop the Year 2 students from enjoying the Swimming Carnival at Engadine Pool.

Here are some of the students waiting for the Novelty Events and then enjoying the water games.

Day 1 with the students.

The koalas started the day chatting about the three points that Mr Bowden told us were important for the year.

  • Respect each other
  • Respect your environment
  • Respect your learning
We read Koala Lou written by Mem Fox. We discussed "Koala Lou I DO LOVE YOU."
God loves us and we are all unique. We are as unique as each of the leaves on the gum tree that we looked at.
Why did we investigate leaves? Koalas eat leaves.
We made a Poster about all the things that we love.
The koalas had a busy day and have started the year in a very positive manner.

Welcome back to 2017

We are about to venture into a new year of learning!

Mrs Davis and Miss Plummer are very excited to be teaching Year 2 in 2017. We are really looking forward to meeting the new students in Year 2 and getting to know about them and their learning!

This blog will be updated regularly with snippets of what is happening in the classroom. Feel free to join the email so that you can be notified when a new post is uploaded.

You can also comment on the posts. Then we know you are viewing them and enjoying what's happening.

Here is a sample of something that represents what we are hoping for in 2017.

Please feel free to contact Mrs Davis or Miss Plummer. We look forward to seeing you at the Swimming Carnival at Engadine Pool on February 1st.
