STEAM - Making life like Bees

What a fabulous afternoon we experienced today. Many parents visited the classroom to help the students create a life like bee. It was a lot of fun. The students chatted about the parts of the bee and decided on the best materials to make the bees as life like as possible. To conclude the afternoon the students used lollies to create a biscuit that looked like a bee. 

The students left the classrooms buzzing with excitement.

Maths Groups

In maths today we worked on multiplication tasks. Here are some examples of our arrays and our repeated addition. 

Bike Education

The Year 2 students brought their bike helmets to school today so that they could inspect them and then adjust them so that they are deemed safe. The students were also asked to go home and share their learning with their family members. After that the students inspected the bikes to learn about the features that were needed to be checked to ensure a safe bike. The whole experience was excellent.
